Our website and online communications are in need of improvement.
Quite an understatement.
So much so, that fixing it is impossible. We have to start from scratch, and make a whole new website.
A new website that keeps the good parts from the old website, of course.
Let’s dive right in, and start at the base. To successfully make a website about and for the NAWCC, we had to ask “Who is the NAWCC?” and “What does it do?”
And in seeking the answer to those questions, we find the goals for the website project: we must define our identity, unite under a central vision, and analyze our resources and user base.
We want our website to consistently & successfully connect with new visitors and our varied user base alike.
To accomplish this, we’ll be looking at the organization’s unified product as an experience, and everyone that has that experience as a user. This includes everything from interacting with the website, visiting the museum, attending an event, reading a promotional email, and so on.
